Dublin, CA
Located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 10 miles east of Hayward, and 25 miles north of San Jose, Dublin is the nearest major metropolitan area is that of Oakland, approximately 25 miles to the west-northwest on Interstate 580. Due to major intersections all around the city, Dublin is known as a "crossroads" of the Bay Area. The population was more than 46,000 according to the state of California's 2008 estimates. Dublin is popular for its Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Every year around Saint Patrick's Day many tourists from all around Alameda County and the Tri-Valley show up to enjoy the festivities.
