Imperial is a city in Imperial County, California. Imperial hosts the annual California Mid-Winter Fair in February which receives over 100,000 visitors from the neighboring cities and Mexico. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.9 square miles (10.1 km²), all of it land.
