Pittsburg, CA

Pittsburg, California is a city located in eastern Contra Costa County, California, the outer portion of the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. It has one BART station, the Pittsburg/Bay Point Station located in Bay Point. The city is currently redeveloping the older downtown and currently instituting a new Marina Master Plan which will include a pedestrian promenade with subsequent commercial and hotel. A new BART station named Railroad Avenue will be completed by 2010.
