Porterville, CA

Porterville is a city in Tulare County, California, which is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. There is also Lake Success, a man-made lake, which is popular during camping seasons. Porterville is home to the oldest high school band in California: the Porterville Panther Band, started by Mr. Frank "Buck" Shaffer. Porterville's Monache High School was labeled as a bronze high school in a nation wide school ranking.
