San Clemente, CA

San Clemente is one of the premier surfing destinations in the United States due to yearlong swells; the city is located in Orange County, just six miles south of San Juan Capistrano. It is equidistant from San Diego and Los Angeles and is home to Richard Nixon’s H.H. Cotton Estate, built by one of Ole Hanson’s partners, and now serves as former president’s vacation home. San Clemente has a Spanish-style coastal resort town, just the way Ole Hanson (original purchaser of the city) envisioned it.
